Community Land Trust

The Westshore Community Development Corp. is using a Community Land Trust as a means to preserve the affordability of Westshore Landings One housing units and to promote individual ownership of housing for income qualified individuals and families. Individual unit owners will not own the land associated with their units, they will have a one fifty  seventh, ninety nine  year lease hold interest in the land and will own their individual units. There are income re sale restrictions on units as well as appreciation value restrictions on individual units to preserve long term affordability.
