RECREATION
The Westshore district offers a host of recreation options for
residents. Raymond James Stadium, home to the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers, USF Bulls football and the annual Outback Bowl is just a
short walk away.
Want to participate in activities rather than just watch? There
are a number of nearby parks and recreational facilities that offer
a host of activities:
-
Loretta Ingraham Recreation Center,
operated by the City of Tampa’s Parks & Recreation Department,
is located ¼ mile from the project site. The facility includes
a full gymnasium, weight room, pool, computer lab and
playground. The Center also offers after school care, summer and
holiday camps for ages 5 to 12 (costs vary).
-
Cypress Point Park
is a recently renovated 43 acre waterfront park in the Westshore
district. It features a beautiful beach, picnic shelters, kayak
launch and more than a mile of walking trails.
-
Rocky Point Golf Course,
an 18 hole public golf course, is a short 5 minute drive from
Westshore Landings.
